The way I used to sit in my old computer chair, I could fall asleep for a couple of hours. This new chair I tried doing it but it hurts my back so bad.
I finally accepted the fact that when it's time to go to bed, it's better to just get into the bed, pull the covers over, close my eyes and fall asleep.
You fell asleep on the couch from 9:30pm to midnight. So you slept for 2 and a half hours. That's why you can't go back to sleep. Just that little bit of sleep you got was enough to energize you.
But the best thing you can do is, find a good time to go to sleep and a good time to wake up and stick to that schedule everyday. Even on weekends.
I've been sticking to a schedule for the last 2 months now and I'm not feeling as tired through the day.
