I Have Sleep Apnea

The dr tells me I have it very bad, too. 1 week after my sleep study someone from the hospital called me with some urgency in his voice. He offered to make an appointment to see the dr the same day. Lemme tell you, in this socialist paradise, you *never* get same-day appointments in the medical system! Well, the dr I spoke to told me that people usually take 3 months to see him. Then he showed me a chart and told me how bad my breathing is during the night. Now I'm in the clinic again, waiting to start my next test with a mask that is supposed to help me breathe better.
Only having begun sharing my bed with a human very recently, who knows how long I've been like this??? I'm told that pretty well any medical condition short of an infection or injury can be exacerbated by sleep apnea. My dad knows a guy whose brother died from it!

My daughter was born with Apnea. She died frequently when she was a baby. I knew the feeling. The fear and adrenaline rush whenever it attacks.
I hope you get over it and find the cure.
Uh... that sounds really bad, but I'm not sure what you mean. Was it autocorrect that put "died frequently"?

No. Lol. What I meant was, when her breathing stopped, felt like a few minutes was an eternity for me. She literally was dead everytime apnea attacked. We survived it. After 3 months, the episodes completely stopped.

Ok, thank God you still have your little girl! Although, not all people w/apnea are so lucky
