I am blaming US, We are to blame for the birthpangs, the killings, the terrors, the pestilence, the earthquakes, the sexual sinning, the falling away from Faith, All this is a sign he is coming very soon. We have to stop sinning and put Jesus first. He said love your enemies, and he layed down his life for them, He is our example.

@Carazaa You are worshipping Caesar not Yahweh. My ancestors left Europe in 1885 fully expecting the world to end at any moment. Having fought in the Napoleonic wars and the Crimean war they were done with Europe and its silly wars. They tried to go to Jerusalem so they would be there when Christ returned bu were refused by the Ottoman Turks. They came to America and went farming in the Dakotas. Yes they were fully armed even though they were fully pacifist.

My Moms Dad, my Grandpa, left Sweden for Chicago in 1909 with no money, he took a class in English there and then he and two buddies worked in carpentry on their way to Seattle. They fished Salmon in Seattle and Vancouver for 15 years and when they had a quarter of a million dollars he went back to vist his parents. He met my Granfma and she didn't want to be a fishermans wife in a foregn country. So they married. He bought 2 duplexes and stayed in Sweden for the rest of his life. They were so nice I visited them every summer and in the winters I iceskated with my cousins on a lake nearby. My Grandma read her Bible every day and sang hymns, and baked, I lwill see her in heaven. My other Grandma said she came from Napoleons family and my Grandpa was a pastors son and they had a happy marriage and lived in the summers on their summer island. My grandpa was a poet on the radio and an editor of a news paper. My parents came to the USA for a few years when my Dad was a research doctor at University of California and then they went back to Sweden. I go back and forth my friends and cousins live in Sweden with ocean front properties and are very happy and it is very safe regardless of what the news says,

@Carazaa Yes I go to the US fairly often (less often now since covid) and I have never felt in danger. Well except the one time I was an exchange officer visiting a USAF base. I was used to going to a CAF base as an officer where I would show my military ID to the old guard at the guard house. He would wave me through and I was free to drive about the base. I went to the USAF base and was met by a tough looking man in uniform and noticed I had several rifles aimed at me while the guy in the uniform checked and rechecked my authorization to be there. I noticed where ever I went there were armed sentries watching everyone entering and leaving the buildings. Yes it was a nuclear armed base and yes on the tarmac sat a bunch of nuclear armed bombers. I went to the officer's mess one night and was chatting with a few of the pilots for the B52s. It was a bit chilling. If the president gave the order they were heading for Russia in a few minutes. Their aircraft already had the nuclear bombs on board. Fortunately I discovered my great grandfather's pacifist Christianity shortly after I resigned my commission. Unlike my Great Grandfather I didn't need guns to hunt or protect the livestock from predators so I gave up all my guns. That completely aside I do not trust the state to protect me or my children or grandchildren. I have simply seen too many times where the state has been the instigator of evil deeds. Covid being just the latest example of government evil causing mass deaths all over the world. Sadly we do live in a fallen world and we are to be as innocent as doves and as wise as serpents. Casting our hopes on mankind is doomed to failure. BTW Great Grandpa was a preacher and farmer. He built a sod church for people to worship together. It became a multi denominational facility shared by the Baptists, Mennonites, Methodists and Anglicans. Eventually there were enough Catholics to build a separate building.
