i've got a bit of a headache at the moment, whats the best medicine for this?

Perhaps of the most well-known reason a gas oven continues to click even after it's lit is an inappropriately adjusted burner cap. Once the cooktop is totally cool, eliminate the burner mesh to get to the cap underneath it. Eliminate the cap and yet again focus it on the base. Have a go at lighting the burner once more.
