most times we don't have a choice, we have to push thru these days...take whatever helps mask the pain to get thru...I do anyway

I don't know if this will help you, but I was able to get a sort of relief with an intake of caffeine and a damp cloth covering my eyes.

cold rags and ice packs are a ritual of mine

That's good to keep the blood flowing and vessels open.
Caffeine helps in that too.
