I lost my wife of 43 years to an aggressive lung disease last May.. hang in there my friend.. take one day at a time ... like Mae said, grief has it's own timetable.. one day you'll be fine, the next day you're a mess.. it can hit you out of nowhere.. and only those that have suffered such a loss really understand, so try and forgive those that claim they understand but have never been there.. they're just trying to comfort you the best they know how..

I am so sorry for loss. Wishing you healing and peace. It's okay to not be okay and take as long as you need don't beat yourself up there is no time limit on grief.

Hang in there. I lost my wife from cancer this past January. As far as dating .I'm not quit ready for it but the thought of it excites me and scares the hell out of me at the same time.

@Cantsayno ditto.. one thing i've learned in this new chapter, is it's best to sit down and figure out what you really want.. go into detail if you must.. then when you figure it out, let those that you are thinking of dating know up front.. i didn't do that and suffered many heartbreaks.. we just weren't on the same page
