I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

My uncle passed away this early this morning at around 1:30. This makes the 2nd family member within months of each other to die of cancer. What is there to do? I just don't know anymore. A fresh wave of grief when the first has barely subsided.

And I'm trying to encourage my friend to keep hope for his mom who also has it but how can I pretend any longer? There's nothing we can really do.

Sure, we can pray for healing but whatever is meant to happen will happen regardless. All we can really do is pray for the strength to endure whatever He allows us to go through. I’m trying to keep faith. I know things happen for a reason but it’s hard to see that reason from where I’m standing.

Sometimes we pray for an answer, but we get an answer we don’t want, and we think we’ve been ignored. I’m just so tired.

Sorry about your uncle, I know how you must be feeling. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do but hope although that can be dangerous as well. Some years ago my mother was taken to hospital and it seems strange but if she had died then perhaps I would have been better. As it was a week went by and I was beginning to hope things would be ok, then I went up the hospital and found she had died.

Am not going to describe the next days but as time went on I got better. So I’m not sure, it happens and we have to cope the best way we can. I do hope things go well for your friends mum 🤗

That's so hard for you. I lost both my parents to cancer and right now I have two friends who are terminally ill and one who's just been diagnosed with the disease. It's a real blight in our world 🤗

I am so sorry for your losses and grief. It’s ok to not know “why”. Life is full of moments of unexplainable grief. Fortunately, you have those moments of joy that allow for good memories. So sorry.

I’m so sorry for your loss . Regular check ups are our only defense , and avoid behaviors that make you susceptible .
I'm very sorry.
Blessings. ❤
