I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

I've been watching Black Mirror for the past few days. As expected, I've found an episode that I couldn't get through. I suppose my wife's death is too recent. I even had to skip an episode of Breaking Bad last week. There are songs that I can't listen to. Almost everything brings back bad memories.

I am sorry for your loss, too. It's hard, Lincoln, and you will have a rough time for a while. You'll have bad moments or even days for quite a while. But hang in there and the sun will shine again. I speak from experience.

And it's not bad to cry. Tears are healing. It just takes time.

There ain’t no rule saying how long you can hurt or when ye gotta stop. You’ll always remember her, and it’ll always hurt. Time will make it so you can have that pain but still keep moving. The scars on our hearts make us who we are.
