I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

This Christmas I have one less card to write. A name to miss from another card. There will be someone missing from the family gathering.

But two others who we thought we might lose are with us and have recovered. There is hope in this season alongside poignant memories.

This year will be really hard for me. I lost my grandmother in May and am uncle in August. I've also lost 2 of my grandmother's sisters. This year won't be over soon enough.
