I Have Lost People I Love From Cancer

My whole lifetime as a child, I saw people come and go from my actual family's life. I lost my grandfather when I was 3 1/2 to pancreatic cancer. I lost my grandmother on my other side of the family to breast cancer by the time I was 4. And many deaths in between of friends, my friends family, etc. Recently just the other day I lost another person, my boyfriends grandmother passed away. It was so sudden, one minute she was here and the next she was gone. None of us can believe it, his nephews are devastated and so are all of us. Sure was I sad when it was my blood that passed away, yes. But everything has changed now, and I've become a part of his family and less of mine. Not because of the deaths but because that's what I had to do. What's funny is yesterday I went to a job interview, and his grandmother had been rooting for me to get this job. Like she had by back 100000%. They hired me on spot...after only like a minute or two. I think she was looking down on me from heaven when I was in that interview and honestly I believe I got the job because of her presence.
