Whyyyyy... Sick

Ive gotten diagnosed with COVID for the very first time today. When I was told in less then 3 minutes of my nose test, I was shocked. I was even pushing myself to work the last 2 days because I just thought work would downplay me being sick. (I havent called out in a year+). But with being a Lead in my department & being alone for majority of the shift, it felt hard to just call out & burden the front end since I was closing both days. So, I stuck it out.. but today I could barely breathe and it was making my voice raspy. I knew I needed to be checked, Ive been placing my work ahead of my health too many days. Now, Im having to isolate for 5 days and they're going to have to figure things out. 🤧👍 Take that, unnecessary guilt!
