My toddler and I are both sick

What can I do to make it easier? He doesn’t want to nap or let me help him blow his nose. Impossible to put saline in. We have a humidifier and are drinking a lot of liquids. What do new parents out there do? I’m feeling hopeless and can’t wait for at least one of us to feel better.

Wrap him up; put him in his buggy and go for a walk. The fresh air will probably tire him out.
Doesn't have to be far. Just a change of scenery without you getting tired and frustrated trying to hold him.
At worst you'll have had a change of scene and at best the fresh air will have knocked him out after a few minutes motion.

Then when you get back put him to bed if he's still asleep, you nap too.
A chance to recharge the batteries.
We've all been there.

@Picklebobble2 if it’s wasn’t 107 F out, I’d do that. The mornings are ok, but it’s too hot in the afternoons at nap time

@chocolateNcheese Then give him a tepid bath. Not cool ! Tepid.
That might help to gently lower his temperature.

@Picklebobble2 thanks, the warm baths and letting the room get steamy have been helpful for his cough and congestion

As long as he is not breathing faster than 40 breaths / min not flaring his nostrils, sinking in at the neck and not beating with his tummy and around his ribs sinking in he should be ok, if any of the above symptoms he needs to be in the hospital. Especially if he has a fever.
Most new parents would take him to see a dr.
@IndianaJoes Then I'm guessing you'd rather our taxes go to Ukraine and making bombs.
