Soooo... gallbladder is going bye-bye.

Which is what I figured, from the get-go. I was away from home for Class A CDL Training when I'd taken ill with upper abdominal pain, swelling, bloating, and nausea.

It took 20 days from the first onset of symptoms, to finally make a solid determination and get surgery scheduled. I should have just gone to a GI specialist right away. It would have saved alot of pain, time and of course... money. I see the surgeon Monday morning to schedule the gallbladder removal, hopefully sooner than later.

I'm not gonna lie, I had mine out. I consider the post op pain more painful than that of my open-heart surgery. Just a little somethin' to chew on for a minute.
@HowtoDestroyAngels Depends on how they do it. Laparoscopic surgery is nothing now. 3 or 4 tiny little cuts about an inch long and that is it.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow That's what I had. Maybe I'm just a crybaby, lol. No but seriously, I took more pain meds then than I did when I had the valve replaced in my heart and they had to crack open my ribcage to get to that.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Yeah that's the expectation. Guess we'll see. I just got my room, for the to and from the surgery.
@HowtoDestroyAngels Wow. Sorry to hear that. I mean everyone has different pain tolerances. Mine is kind of high.

@Levenrack Good luck to you, my friend. May it be painless.
