only in america...a lifetime of savings can be wiped out in days...without insurance?? anyone have a story to share??

fortunately my parents have excellent insurance and medicare...ive never had health insurance...so far i pay for what i need out of pocket and have saved a LOT...i realize this will not always be the case

No story to share but it seems insurance doesn't cover much. As far as car insurance, seems like they should give you a majority of your money back, if you weren't involved in any accidents.
Sometimes I think about living like that: not having insurances, just to save money.
