Serious question: How do blind people know where to find the braille?

Like, going through the airport, I noticed a sign in English, French, and braille. Awesome that it's there for blind people but how would they ever know it was there??

This has often puzzled me!

Interesting question, but sight is only one sense, and it's hard to imagine without... I take curious interest at times in watching people, I've watched blind people navigate sidewalks, they know the beginning and end just as well as the person with sight. As you learned to find what taught how you to deal with the world, they did? (It's the obvious one ~ and I'm not doubting the obstacles as this world is designed by those who have sight, mostly...)
