I Have An Invisible Disability

So I have 2 main ones. First one is inherited and that’s my deafness. Both me and my baby brother have serious hearing problems. It’s something that makes talking to people difficult.

The other one is I am completely unable to feel touch or pain. And I have had a few people already tell me that I’m lucky to have it. I’m not. I injure my self a lot and don’t notice. I have had broken bones and not notice till my parents do. I’m babysat still to make sure I don’t hurt my self and every night my parents check me over.

It also effect how I feel heat. I can tell if something is warmer or colder. But I can’t tell if it’s burning hot or freezing cold. And I can’t tell if the weather is too hot for me in till I’m made sick because of it. When I was 12 in Disney in Florida I ended fainting in the park and cracking my skull cause I was too hot and didn’t notice.

And I don’t think it as a disability but I’m also on the autistic spectrum. I’m really low on it but I’m still on it.
