I Have An Invisible Disability

I have a disability which means I have to use a waking stick. I feel that ever since I've had to use the stick that people no longer see me just it. My ex husband left me 3 years ago and one f his parting comments was, " your old, ugly and a cripple no one will ever want or look at you". I really wish I didn't feel like my disability defines me but I fear it does and my ex could be right.

Disability only slows you down from working certain jobs. It does not slow you down from finding the right man. The only men you won't be picking up, are the ones who are looking at you, and not who you are inside. You don't want those kind of men.
