I Have An Invisible Disability

I have a disability which means I have to use a waking stick. I feel that ever since I've had to use the stick that people no longer see me just it. My ex husband left me 3 years ago and one f his parting comments was, " your old, ugly and a cripple no one will ever want or look at you". I really wish I didn't feel like my disability defines me but I fear it does and my ex could be right.

I have had a disability for 25 years that no one can see, and it never defined who I was...look past it to you you truly are on the inside.

@Raffie I think that's the real problem. Not what he said, cause I know deep down he's a Muppet, but how I see myself.
