I Have a Disability

I was born with a disability. Some people don't notice/know it. I have heart disease and lung damage. Growing up was hard for me. I started doing Sign Language when I was 3 years old. Some of my family came with me to classes. That made me happy.I have a hard time speaking.. Over the years i came a long way, With my heart condition, I am doing things that i couldn't do before.

I got my license in January 2017.
I have my own car. So my aunt gave me a great idea. If I got pulled over by a police officer How would he understand me?
So she told me that i should type up a little note explaining that I have a hard time speaking, So i am typing up a note and going to print it and keep it in my car so if/whenever I get pulled over I can give it to him/her. I am hoping I won't get pulled over. 😱

I think that every police officer should have a parner that knows sign language. I think that would be great to have.

My youngest daughter has mild cerebral palsy and it sounds like the two of you are a lot alike. There’s nothing she won’t try. She was abandoned by her mother in China when she was six. She has been in our family for seven years and I don’t know what we did before she came along.
