LADA Confirmed

I've had the diagnosis of Autoimmune Diabetes confirmed and I will be starting MDI (multiple daily injections) probably tomorrow.
I have a Libre sensor on, but theyre a bit useless at sticking on. I doubt this one will last the night.
It's also been a bit of a comedy of errors with the NHS people panicking, getting prescriptions wrong, failing to provide vital tech components.
I feel as though I need a good old cry, but the tears won't come.

I've been wearing those sensors for over two years and still have trouble pulling them off after two weeks to change them. Must have been very oily skin when applied.

@Persephone I just use a body wipe then a small alcohol prep before I put them on.

@Gibbon i may need to get some, i don't want to waste any more sensors.

@Persephone well I always have prep swabs for my insulin shots. Any form of prewash works.

I have type 2 and inject myself weekly with 1mg of Ozempic.

I just had a blood draw. My sugars were 98 (below 100 is considered normal). Yay! My A1C was 6.5. This is the border between prediabetes and diabetes. Last time it was 6.7.

Good luck!
