wish they could find a cure for diabetes

i have type 2, and it's truly a bummer not being able to eat what i want...i have been managing it well over the years, but why can't a cure can be found? i get a big appetite but have to watch what i eat of course.

Why would they want to find a cure, the pharmaceutical companies make hundreds of billions of dollars worldwide selling drugs. And what makes you think they don't have the cure, but it will never be released to the public.
