Diabetes is no joke

Well got some pretty shit news today found out that diabetes is causing damage to my liver it hasnt gotten to a critical point yet but was told if it gets worse or my liver starts to fail i would have to have a liver transplant and since you cant live without a functioning liver if i couldnt get a transplant i recon ol ExperienceDLT wouldnt be around any longer lol guess i better start taking my diabetes seriously huh

That’s awful, that’s pretty harsh news I hope your okay. My grandad lost both his feet due to diabetes. It actually crazy how over looked it is

@Medoesnotcare i never took mine that seriously and now i guess i made a pretty big mistake doing that i just hope i can get the liver issue turned around without needing a transplant or worse

@ExperienceDLT as far as I know we learnt in school that the liver can regenerate itself ? So hopefully yours does 🙏

@ExperienceDLT @Medoesnotcare the liver can in most cases regenerate itself over time, the only exceptions to this are severe diseases of the liver like cirrhosis or hepatitis.

@basilfawlty89 im hoping for the best hopefully if i change my diet and can get my diabetes regulated it will improve or at least not get bad enough for me to beed a sang transplant
