To my fellow diabetics (t1 or t2):

Do you ever notice your numbers spiking after an intense workout or exercise session ? Are there any tricks to curb that, like maybe drinking a lot of water before testing again ?
(I’m not insulin dependent)

I have this issue with my blood sugar being high in the morning. 5.6 at bedtime, and 7.5 in the morning. It was explain to me my liver is causing it.

"Exercise draws on reserve sugar stored in your muscles and liver. As your body rebuilds these stores, it takes sugar from your blood. " your intense workout could cause it, and your body not processing it correctly. Depending on meds how it handles sugar in blood.
