To my fellow diabetics (t1 or t2):

Do you ever notice your numbers spiking after an intense workout or exercise session ? Are there any tricks to curb that, like maybe drinking a lot of water before testing again ?
(I’m not insulin dependent)

Type 1: My BG spikes based on stress or un digested food. 3-6-8 hours later. Excercise brings my BG down within an hour as my insulin is processed faster. Maybe in your case, it’s carbs from an earlier meal and your metabolism is speeding up digestive process? It’s just a theory.
