To my fellow diabetics (t1 or t2):

Do you ever notice your numbers spiking [b]after[/b] an intense workout or exercise session ? Are there any tricks to curb that, like maybe drinking a lot of water before testing again ?
(I’m not insulin dependent)

Might need to go less intense and build up intensity slowly. My husband can barely get through any activity without dropping too low so he struggles in the opposite direction, but apparently if you work your muscles too hard too fast it can spike your sugar. The more overtaxed, the longer it can take to regain control. That’s all I’ve read on it.
