Just a follow up question after my diagnosis of type 2 [I Have Diabetes]

For those of you on metformin, how long did the unpleasant side effects 💩 last for? It’s been almost three months and I’m thinking it’s going to be a real rough go taking canoe/hiking trips this year if it doesn’t improve. I’m taking it properly, changed my diet and doing all the right things but damn this is the worst side effect ever 😖
