馃 It's rough. When my husband had brain surgery (he had diabetes from Agent Orange in Vietnam) they gave him steroids. I set the alarm to check his blood sugar every two hours night and day, it was so volatile.

Watch steroids. They can mess you up.

It's tough, dealing with diabetes, but it's better than not dealing with it. 馃

Shrug. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Diabetes is nasty, no question. I know you were struggling a while ago. Any more stability?@SW-User

@SW-User My late husband taught me a lot - when someone tried to commiserate with him, he'd say, "I don't like the other option."

@Mamapolo2016 I'm sorry you lost him ...was his death due to complications of diabetes?
Mamapolo2016F
No, that's the irony. Likely also related to Agent Orange and smoking (he quit but too late) - lung cancer that metastacized to the brain and eventually the liver.@SW-User
