The numbers are then converted to a scale that signifies how much it's under controlled. Example: A normal glucose reading, or (blood sugar) should be on a scale of 70-150. After 150, you're considered high, and below 70, it's low. If my A1C was showing a glucose reading of 115, that would put me at a 5.9, which means it's controlled.
