Listening to the 3 part episodes

Of the Covid Pandemic on the podcast If Books Could Kill only further makes me ingrained in my belief that right wing people are absolute idiots that do not deserve the freedom of speech to pass their completely wrong information.

Even with every bit of transparency and data that was given during the Covid 19 lockdown, these people just refused to acknowledge, or even use any "critical thinking " they boasted to have.

Their whole fear was that the government was trying to create an authoritarian take over of people by forcing them to wear masks, stay home, and prevent the spread of the virus. Meanwhile, they seem to completely forget the person in control of that government was their own guy.

I know two things can exist in the same space, but in this case, trump had all the power to stop whatever "deep state" nonsense the right wing thought was happening and didn't. How does one reconcile this in their own heads?

How does one reconcile this in their own heads?
That's quite simple: they don't. If two statements justify their fear and hate, it doesn't matter that they contradict each other. Both statements serve that purpose and that's all they want.
These sum it up!

@ElwoodBlues to no one's surprise and the cover up of the right wing politicians, red states had a higher mortality rate with covid than blue states. But the right wingers will insist the data is full of lies, because Right(wing) is right!
Didn't he suggest they inject bleach?
Another missed opportunity.

@Mindfulness Especially since we have handy pods, like Tide, to administer that.

He didn't push that idea enough, imho.
