Good news: my COVID experience lasted four days...

Lucky, I guess!
bowman81 · M
My understanding is that is the norm for the latest strain of Covid. The Center for Disease Control changed their recommendation to resuming normal activities 24 hours after lack of symptoms, typically after 5 days.

I had covid for the first time the first week of February. Self tested positive with the home kit. I missed the window for Paxlovid to be effective so rode it out without. Typical symptoms and fever done in less than a week.

@bowman81 I had no fever both times. Are u vaxxed?
bowman81 · M
@Wiseacre I was given the two dose vaccine and 4 boosters but didn't receive the latest booster so I guess you can say I am vaxxed. I figure I can skip the last booster since I had the crud already.

I've had covid multiple times. It's like getting the flu. It is what it is. I did get one of the more severe strains though, and I was hallucinogenic sick for over a week and lost 20 pounds. Good times

@Neman1622 wow...I found it like nothing else. I immediately knew I had it.
My friend recently had Covid she lost her taste and smell but it only lasted a few day which is good!
