@revenant Vaccines generally do not prevent you being infected or infectious! They reduce the risk of you becoming seriously ill from the diseases they are against.

Some people sadly do suffer serious side-effects from vaccines, just as with any medication, but the chances of that are far smaller than the chances of serious harm from the disease itself.

@ArishMell If you get the polio vaccine and those around you got it too..you do not worry.

That is why I call the covid vaccine a fake vaccine and Fauci and co ABSOLUTELY said : get vaccinated and you will not catch Covid nor will you transmit it. Later they deny what they said it and attempted to gaslight the population.

The world-wide death-toll from Covid runs into many tens of millions - I am being cautious as I am not sure if it is not some hundreds of millions and I mis-heard it. It is still killing people.

Meanwhile in some parts of the world, various vicious, ignorant little tuppeny-ha'pennies are doing their damndest to stop anyone being inoculated against polio (and other diseases?). It seems these ignorami convinced themselves that the vaccine is a "Western" tool to sterilise their populations; leading to some thinking nothing of killing anyone to further the cruelty and foolishness.

Yes, I know it is as stupid as the lies that circulated in "The West" linking portable-telephone developments, implants and vaccinations; but it is very hard to break this wilful ignorance and to reveal[i] who[/i] starts them, and[i] why[/i] they do.

The frightening things are -

- We still do know exactly how the SARS-Covid pathogen found its way from animals in which it was endemic, to humans.

- This is not the first and will not be the last pandemic; and the next could be even worse. Let's hope for example it is not something like a new strain of Bubonic Plague or one of the haemorrhagic diseases. (I don't know about Ebola and its ilk, but The Plague is bacterial so responds to antibiotics harmless to virii, however both diseases can kill even hitherto healthy people within only a few days.)

I fear even then we'd still see concerted campaigns run by anonymous sources, to let the disease have its evil wicked ways.

@ArishMell It was not a pandemic . Over 99. 9 % survival rate. Hardly a pandemic. Those who died were in hospitals,old people homes, sick and frail already.
Why on earth do you think so many doctors and folks in the health profession refused to take the jab ?

Too many westerners followed the Chinese model : dictatorial and inhumane.

The whole thing was gain of function. And Pfizer bribed various human rights agencies, statistics were messed with.

The whole thing was a hoax.

There is pandemic and pandemic and I would not compare apples and oranges. Ebola would frighten me...a mere cold would not.
