Missing most of my freshman year of high school.

My parents dying, giving birth to my first child, horrible restrictions, and people going insane because of covid.
TexChik · F
@SW-User I am so sorry for your loss. I lost mine 6 months apart and it was agony.

Seeing local council workers being so enthusiastic about putting tape over park benches and barricading public areas.
TexChik · F
And that the NY Governor let it sit empty while forcing nursing homes to take covid patients , ultimately killing thousands of elderly residents .
Fungirlmmm · 51-55, F
Driving through towns with the streets abandoned. Not being able to find food and medicine at times. So many of my friends and family sick. Losing my special person. No longer being am exception as almost everyove started working from home.
Raymuundo · 46-50, M
@Fungirlmmm incessant Zoom calls/meeting and that really cheesy wave at the end of the call….

That it represents what is possibly the greatest crime against humanity ever unleashed on the world.

All the obsessed people preaching mask n jabs, that got angry and called the rest tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorists, lots of comedy & beers in those days.

masks everywhere
I used to work in a couple of banks - and the idea that you would have to wear a mask to walk into a bank still blows my mind

how nice it was when most of the world chilled out for awhile
Raymuundo · 46-50, M
@SW-User did it chill out? I saw some ridiculous behaviour. Panic buying, horrible selfish stuff. I am glad it’s not in the news every day any more.
Wizardry · 46-50, M
Having to go through two lockdowns in New Zealand because of Covid and wearing a mask into a store
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
how gullible and naive the masses were for falling for all the bullshit & propaganda surrounding it...

How invulnerable people feel, how little they care about others and how short sighted they are.

For me it was time to just retire, kick-back and relax.
Bang5luts · M
The fact that they still have not tracked down all the famous people implicated in the sex trafficking ring along with Oprah, Tom Hanks & his wife, etc

@NerdyPotato Actually I was speaking about Jeffrey Epstein. I didn't know exactly all the celebrities implicated, I knew a few names read from the list, I heard about it then it was dropped and everyone was told to quarantine..
NerdyPotato · M
@Bang5luts ok, that makes sense. It's quite a coincidence that you only remembered the people who didn't have anything to do with him though. I guess you had the wrong list in mind. 😅
Bang5luts · M
@NerdyPotato Yeah like I said I only seen one brief report about it then everyone had to quarantine. I didn't really know who all was implicated just what I heard back then

I am saddened by how all the insanity has changed people, changed how they see life, how they see other people and situations and how awful people can be to each other for not all seeing things the same way.
To this day and beyond... some are having a hard time finding normalcy... and now... some work places are talking about making workers wear masks again during the winter months.
I will most remember how damaging people can be and were to others with their nasty ways and words.

@SW-User true. People have literally told me they'd rather see me die than that they'd have to wear a simple mask. It wasn't uncommon either and not limited to strangers. The same was said by some friends and family. I won't ever see those the same way again.
