I have covid and I am in the ER

I just wanted to let you know that I have tested positive for Covid and I am in the ER.

I am not doing well. This has hit me so hard very quickly and I am very scared for what is to come.

For those of you that are close know that I have struggled very much with my health and I am very immune compromised and even more so with this super bug amoeba infection in my sinuses.

Please pray or send healing vibes to me. I have never been so sick and in so much pain in my life and this is just the beginning of it.

Thank you all for your friendships here. I will update as I can. 🥺.

I don’t even remember making this post yesterday because I was so delirious with pain and fever.

The doctor let me go home to sleep in my own bed last night because my oxygen levels were okay. I also have an O2 monitor but told me to come back if I got worse.

I am still waiting for the hospital to call me and tell me when to come up for my first monoclonal antibody treatment. They have to get the medication from the city.

I can’t have paxlovid because I take too many medications that interact with that drug. I am just thankful this other option is available to me because I have never been so sick in my whole life.

I feel absolutely horrid and I am so weak. I have never been in so much pain in my life. Thank you all for the well wishes. I appreciate you all 💖💖💖.

@Barefooter25 I am getting outpatient treatment for the monoclonal antibody infusions. Doing my first one now and I will keep the IV port in until Thursday which will be my last treatment.

@empanadas Thank you so much. That antibody treatment is helping and I feel very lucky that I am able to get it.

Pretty sure my kids are getting sick now. I asked my in-laws to keep them instead of bringing them back on Saturday but they said no it was fine because COVID is just a cold. I have never had to get monoclonal antibodies infused for a cold before.

For your kids with their healthy immune systems and vaccinations, a Covid infection should be pretty minor.

@ElwoodBlues I am thinking they should be okay but I still didn’t really want them to get it because there’s the risk of long covid and even in mild cases covid can affect the grey matter in your brain. Certainly not just a cold.

@Scribbles My oxygen is okay, I have a pulse oximeter and it’s been good. Just so tired. I have never been so exhausted. Thank you 💖
