Has anyone noticed this after COVID?

Your cough reflex is more sensitive to triggers than usual?

Not that you cough often but you cough easier than before.

For example when drinking cold water.

I've read it's normal after viral respiratory infections in general for up to 2 months.

It's been a month since I got it.

Good thing is my oxygen saturation is 99%.

The last I got sick nearly 3 years ago I had a sensitive cough for several weeks due to inflammation. I also had pleurisy. I use naturally anti-inflammatory food-derived supplements now and don’t have that inflammation. Part of the problem was that I had been baking before I got sick and had been eating too many sweet cookies. Sugar is an inflammatory.

What kinda supplements do you use?
From what I've noticed you often seem to find the solution to ailments using natural products & supplements which is great (: @cherokeepatti

@SW-User A high-quality filtered fish oil, Natural buffered vitamin c with biflavanoids, Quercetin with Bromelain. Quercetin is from onions (which I eat daily but apparently not enough)and apples, Bromelain is enzymes from pineapple. Also I try to avoid most of the cooking oils that are commonly used in deep-fried and processed foods. They are inflammatory. The ones I use are olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, a tiny bit of sesame oil to flavor some foods, and walnut oil. Olive oil is the main one I use. There are some oils that were supposed to be healthy such as safflower oil, sunflower oil & grape-seed oil that felt like it set me on fire internally around my organs. I threw those away after using one time.

@SW-User All these are good if you have asthma too. The treatment my doctor recommended was steroids and I wasn’t willing to use those as they can have some nasty side effects including weight gain and bone-thinning.

@SW-User How long does it take for a delivery to get to you? I order mine from the Swanson website, it is the largest online health supplement site in the USA. They have their own line of products as well as brand names & their store brand is every bit as good as the name brands from what I can tell.

@cherokeepatti Actually it's super fast in just 3-5 days. Also they have lots of beauty & makeup products. The prices are better than what we have over here for the same quality.
