Has anyone noticed this after COVID?

Your cough reflex is more sensitive to triggers than usual?

Not that you cough often but you cough easier than before.

For example when drinking cold water.

I've read it's normal after viral respiratory infections in general for up to 2 months.

It's been a month since I got it.

Good thing is my oxygen saturation is 99%.

@SW-User You wouldn't believe, but it's true. 22 years back I was having some serious illness which later diagnosed to be brain tumor. I had the tumor on my brain stem and the tumor used to put more pressure on the nerve that supplies blood to brain whenever I got a simple pressure/jerk on my head/neck area, like we get while stepping faster on stairs or during running or during cough. I used to be very careful while using stairs and never tried to run.

But unfortunately I got cough, that doctors were not able to cure immediately. Even sometimes I fainted while coughing because the tumor used to put pressure on the nerve leading to stop blood supply to brain for a second. Everyone was concerned about me, but my mom was too much sad.

My mother visited to a pious lady who was devotee of a Hindu Goddess. My mom requested her to pray for me, and told everything about my disease. At that time my mom was very much concerned about me having cough. She then asked my mom to bring me to her. I went, and she gave few black pepper after doing some prayer/mantras, and told me "Take them, and you will never have cough in your life". After consuming those black peppers my cough stopped in a short time.

And now 22 years have passed without cough.
