I am a Non-vaxxer.
You do what you want.

Everyone I know that has gotten the vaccine has also gotten Covid, some of 'em a couple times. I never got the vaccine and never got Covid.

Please, don't tell me that it's not the purpose of the vaccine to prevent getting Covid.
If that's true, then it's not a vaccine at all.

I think it's nuts that this is still being debated.
We're on the back end of the infection.
We learned a lot. Well, we had the opportunity to learn a lot.
One of the things I learned is that the medical community and government don't always have my best interest in mind. They consistently have their own interests in mind and are not forthcoming about what those interests are. That is really unfortunate. The medical community and government are necessarily are part of my life that I need to interact with. And, I don't feel like I can trust either one.

@Budwick a loved one took a single vaccine for covid and had a single 6 appear on her arm

They want you to take at least 3

That should disturb anyone
Budwick · 70-79, M
@th3r0n Am I to take that literally?
The number 6 appeared on her arm?
Like a tattoo?
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Budwick yes, literally

It stayed for a while and then it was gone
Budwick · 70-79, M
@th3r0n Kinda spooky!
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Budwick very, and she wasn’t against the vaccine I was but she changed her mind after that
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Budwick she even told me that after she took that first vaccine that Lucifer came to tempt her, that she had never even called him Lucifer before

The vaccine contains pig blood and other things used in witchcraft, it IS witchcraft

Have you had a flu shot, and still gotten the flu? Immunity escape is a thing, between different strains of a virus. Covid didn’t invent it.@Budwick
Budwick · 70-79, M
@AbbySvenz They don't call a flu shot a vaccine, do they?
And no, I've never gotten one of those either.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@AbbySvenz I don’t get flu shots either, keep yourself healthy and they’re not anything to be concerned with to start with

Even when I had covid the first time which was the worst I only missed 2 days of work because I didn’t know what it was and kept working

Influenza vaccines, also known as flu jabs or flu shots, are vaccines that protect against infection by influenza viruses.[7] New versions of the vaccines are developed twice a year, as the influenza virus rapidly changes.[7] While their effectiveness varies from year to year, most provide modest to high protection against influenza.[7][8] The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that vaccination against influenza reduces sickness, medical visits, hospitalizations, and deaths.[9][10] Immunized workers who do catch the flu return to work half a day sooner on average.[11] Vaccine effectiveness in those over 65 years old remains uncertain due to a lack of high-quality research.[12][13] Vaccinating children may protect those around them.[7]

@th3r0n Given that the flu shot can not be shown to be effective... I came to that realization when my mother in law was put into a dementia ward. Every year we would get a phone call from the hospital asking for permission to give her the flu shot. Every year we said yes as did everyone else whose loved ones lived in the facility. Every year she would get the flu as did the majority of other residents. Amazing 100% failure rate.

@AbbySvenz it’s ironic, such a lovely young woman, and you’re clearly intelligent, it can be seen just from your speech patterns and level of conversation, but sadly you tend to be deceived far too easily by “official” sources

Intelligence and wisdom are very different things; an intelligent person can learn much very quickly and yet may wind up learning false information without looking more deeply, while the wise looks to see if the official line is a lie and looks to discern truth from lies deeply

@th3r0n Sadly our 'science' education is sorely lacking. The students are being taught that science comes from a book written by an expert and not by people trying things (experimentation). That the 'science' community said "The Vax is safe and effective" is proof positive for today's graduates of our educational establishments. There is no actual proof required. They have been indoctrinated and there is no getting through to them that the 'experts' can and usually are wrong.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 I’ve noticed, they think “science” is what someone with a job description tells them

The scientific method is the root of science and is based in scrutiny and proof

Their proof in these areas is less than circumstantial as even the circumstances don’t fit the narrative
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@th3r0n Exactly. Very strange. They will put out all kinds of graphs and statistics completely out of context thinking that this somehow proves something. Yet when asked if they can duplicate the results they can't. They are just spewing what some 'expert' said.
@AbbySvenz The flu vaccine is estimated to be between only 30% - 40% effective, if that. It's manufactured on a projection of where the virus will mutate to. It misses the mark most of the time.

Nobody said science was perfect. Which is why it keeps refining itself @PhoenixPhail
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@AbbySvenz I do wish people would learn the difference between science and technology. Vaxes and vaccines are technology. They are not science. Science is what you use to determine if they are effective or not. As statistics from around the world are now indicating the technology of the modern vaccines are not effective. Things like MMR and Flu are not effective in the same way the polio vaccines and smallpox vaccines have been shown to be effective. In fact in the case of flu vaccine statistics show that injecting saline solution is just as effective in preventing the flu. As for the mRNA vaxes ( I refuse to call them vaccines) they are both completely ineffective and as is now being shown are actually dangerous. In fact they are more dangerous than the virus. Speaking of which it is now becoming apparent that the vaxes INCREASE you chances of becoming infected and for some unknown reason said infections do not confer immunity. Normally if you get a virus and recover from it you are immune to the virus. The multiple jabbed that I know all have had multiple bouts with covid as well. Now you see such observations is actually science. And we learn from such science. Sadly we do not learn much from the science you advocate which is some 'expert' who likely is not that expert telling you what to do or this is safe or not safe. Sadly you can't teach experience.

The information there is meaningless, much like your comment.
th3r0n · 41-45, M
@Budwick see that’s the issue, she is very intelligent but lacks wisdom

She doesn’t know how to discern between false and truthful information
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Budwick The point being that academic studies are pretty much meaningless. How often have you seen the 'study' reflect what the sponsor of the 'study' wants to show? Studies show this detergent is better than that detergent. Pretty useless. Sadly the same techniques perfected by the marketing industry is used by the power class as well. Studies show that the earth is warming and studies show that without this vax you are all going to die. Funnily enough both of those statements are backed up by 'computer modelling' done by the same guy in England. What are the odds? I thing his name is Neil Ferguson. Here is an article about the man and his computer models -
