Did anyone in your life get a little too paranoid right after Covid was first talked about?

I live with my parents and they kicked me out because they saw me as a threat since I worked with the public. They made me go stay at the hotel I worked at. My mom was crying like she had to sacrifice her kid in order to stay safe. They also told me I should quit my job. Which I absolutely can not believe considering they are all about having a job and would have never just let me go in life without working. I stayed at the hotel for a night or two, then went home after seeing everyone in the world was still going on with their daily lives. They should have known I couldn't just stay there forever. It was so stupid. Then about 3 months after that I got fired. And I think after my mom started to get worried when I didn't have a job after a couple months. I was like, what happened to the idea with you saying I should never work again lol it's scary to think that in certain situations even your own family might dismiss you or send you away to protect their self

My brother and his wife have become hermits.
Its riduculous.

They only go out for groceries and thats it.

Its kinda bizarre really as my brother is a savant with biology, chemistry and shit.

But i think his 'big brother' paranoia has won him over .

I got over my fear of it real quick after I had it twice and it just ended up being a mild sinus infection
@swandfriends my daughter got it ...was feverish for two days, and then said it felt like a cold.

I think the hype was media driven terror for an alternative reason.
All the numbers just dont add up and are too unclear.

Living in fear just isnt worth it.
