I've never heard of more pharmaceuticals than I have in the past year and a bit, is all I can say. When I doubt the average journalist can really speak medically that says a lot.

@thewindupbirdchronicles Yeah well if we didn't have a huge anti vaccine crowd, you wouldn't hear of so many.

Also, reporters report. This article is written from doctor's advice on medication. It would be wise to actually click on a link to establish which authority said what before anything.
@SatanBurger I'm suspecting, the issue is longer.. general distrust in government. Which is ironic, cause in the case of a health emergency, who is the first that will have to respond?

@thewindupbirdchronicles you've heard of a lot of names coz a lot of different types of drugs have been used to control covid. Some got approval for further use, some didn't. That's all. It creates confusion in anyone who's not related to pharmacology field.
@SW-User That's fine and I understand that part.

@thewindupbirdchronicles Okay yeah you're right, don't trust the person in the article, Dr. Stephen Griffin, virologist when he says that the medication that people are saying is Ivermectin isn't because it isn't chemically similar then.

Do what you want.
@SatanBurger Where did I suggest that? I only suggested something very different, I've never heard of so many pharmaceuticals in a year - and I could be questioning social media there? 馃憖

@SatanBurger I will, and so far it's been asking why each side refuses to listen to each other (and I generally agree with taking the vax, etc). I like media arts, so my first question is ALWAYS there
SatanBurger36-40, F
@thewindupbirdchronicles Because you mentioned an issue with distrust in medical authorities on an article talking about the chemical properties of some medication that people are trying to say is the same as ivermectin.

And so it just sounds bad, the average lay person is not a chemist so I find it difficult to believe a distrust with saying a medication is chemically different as the lay people don't go to school for chemistry.
