I have Covid 😑

So my supervisor gave me COVID after coming to work when she clearly had a loss of taste and coming to my desk with no mask on for 5 minutes…

I feel awful

Ugh 😣 hopefully it’s over before I know it.

So far no taste/ no smell..

& awful stomach cramps…

I hope this 10 day quarantine period goes quickly.

Same thing happened to my mom. Her stupid coworker who wasn't even supposed to be there that day came with fever despite not feeling well and despite knowing she was with a sick person on the previous weekend. I hope you won't have a difficult case of it. My mom was really sick for two weeks and it took another two weeks for her to recover while her coworker only had mild fever for two days.

I hope you start feeling better soon. Plenty of Internet video on how to restore your sense of taste/smell, but most of it is BS (like biting into raw onions).

Symptoms of anosmia should go away on their own.

I don't know why people do this :-(

@Northwest my son lost his taste and smell and he is an excellent cook, relying heavily on taste and smell.

The Internet advice on getting back taste and smell is 100% garbage. He tried all of them.

Have you notified the authorities so that they can trace and support those she and you have been in contact with? It is likely that you are not the only one who should be isolating.

Steam Inhalation(3-5 times a day), take adequate amount of zinc, vitamins, particularly vitamin C, or take these supplements.
