When my mother got covid, it was difficult for us to control her blood sugar levels just my medicines that were prescribed by our doctor. We consulted the doctor, and only after his prescribing the insulin the blood sugar levels were under control. It got back to normal after she recovered from covid.

@ABCDEF7 thanks. I take insulin injections 4 times per day anyway - we were just having trouble keeping my sugars up (they were sitting at 2.5 yesterday). We鈥檝e tweaked my insulin and I鈥檓 on a high carb diet while my body is clearly burning sugar to fight this

@SW-User try eating peanut butter. It has a lot of sugar and takes a while to digest
Or drink small cups of orange juice
