International Travel

Given that on a global scale the Covid-19 pandemic seems to be getting worse do you think people should be able to travel internationally with so much freedom. I know from the UK it should be essential travel only but are weddings and funerals really essential?

What do you mean "with so much freedom"?

@EuphoricTurtle for a long period of time there has been a lot of freedom to travel internationally both to and from the UK, yes sometimes with restrictions but often not. All you had to do was say it was essential.

@MrAverage1965 It's a bit more complicated than that, you do have to complete a travel declaration form and provide evidence.

@EuphoricTurtle Yet people were still able to fly home taking a 10 day break in Turkey to avoid costly quarantine in the UK.

All throughout the pandemic there has been too much international travel too and from the UK especially compared to the likes of Australia.
