Never understood the queues outside Primark after every lock-down ends...

...any ideas?!

Never understood Primark 😬
@SW-User oh the environmental impact is one of the biggest in the planet,as well as the waste they produce. I could write an entire book and there are many already on how catastrophic they are. But w.e at least we can look cute

@PepsiColaP Cotton doesn't grow well in Scotland, but linen and wool are quite stylish. Wear locally produced fibres 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

They need their hit of fast fashion to fill the void until the next hit

@ninalanyon It doesn't surprise me that people want to go to shops after they've been closed so long, I just wonder why clothes shopping seems to get such a huge pull.

@PhilDeep I don't get it either but then I have a huge wardrobe of clothes. I could probably live the rest of my life without buying any more! The shops open again here this week too but the only reason I will have for going to the town centre is to visit my favourite café.
