Do you know anyone who has had COVID19?

I believe I had it in March. Even went to the emergency but back then they didn't know much about it and sent me home. A week later I got a high fever, felt sickly and weak, short of breath. Took about a month before I felt normal again. Back in March people were told they didn't need to wear masks. Had wearing masks been mandatory, I might not have gotten sick!

Yes. Myself, my boyfriend, his brother, his niece, many friends, my stepson...

My stepson and my bf's brother were both very ill and ended up in the hospital for a week.

Yes, a lot of family members. Some had mild to severe symptoms, some have died. Went on a vent, never regained consciousness.

several... some recovered really quick, some died... most are somewhere in between

My mom's friend had it and passed away due to complications.

Yes. My husband. It was like a bad cold and he was exhausted for almost a month but he was ok. My son in laws parents also. That being said my son’s 2 friends lost their father to Covid. It shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Yes.
My boyfriend and his family, (his kids, their spouses, his dad who is 88 years old) and me.
We weren't very sick.
It felt like a cold and only lasted a few days.
His dad didn't have any symptoms.

I know several people. The severity has varied from person to person.

My son and many coworkers. One of which passed away due to it

Plenty. Most recovered 3 died

I know one person who was on a ventilator for a few weeks. She survived. She's in her 70's.

Other than one person on SW, I can't think of anyone else I know who got the covid 19 very badly.

But it can be very nasty even if you don't get a 'severe' case.

As a healthcare Assistant I've known a lot of of people who were sick - both patients and colleagues, some mild, some very sick and a few who have died.
