well, i totally understand your position on it, but at the same time, I don't want to get the coronavirus so I think I am going to get the vaccine when it's available. i dont get flu shots but this coronavirus looks scary with its' potential complications from having it

@Penny Your flu risk will be much higher in about 20 years, so you might want to start getting an annual flu shot by then, in addition to the coronavirus vaccine now.

@windinhishair i rarely used to get the flu and if i did it didnt last long, then i had to get the flu shot for work for a while and the couple years after that i got the flu so much. now i'm back to rarely getting it so I figure it's not worth the risk. i think getting the flu shot actually compromised my immune system (after stopping getting the shot) for a time somehow. for prevention I wash my hands religiously every time i come home from being out. a few times if i'm handling bags and such. (like after handling the bags again) havent had the flu in over a decade now.

@Penny I had the flu in 1984 and the swine flu in 2009, so twice in 36 years. I had issues for over six months the last time, so I started getting the annual flu vaccine then, and will continue to do so. You know your body and what works best for you.
