It's been fast tracked, and is using mRNA in the hopes that the body will trigger the proper immune response.
It's only been tested in small populations. We don't know how it will scale for mass production.
This is new technology and hasn't been tested thoroughly with the general population. Nobody knows the long term implications of this type of vaccine.
I will wait and continue to social distance, wear a mask, wash my hands, and avoid people as much as possible.
