Would you get the vaccine for Corona Virus?

@cherokeepatti even ones that have been around forever are toxic. The media won't cover how many people get hospitalized from flu vaccines

If neither of these you can have a lay persons opinion but stated as...

@SW-User There is a page on the WHO.com page that shows all the deaths from each vaccine. You really have to dig to get to it, but its there. Several hundred people a year die from vaccines.
I want to see how many people get hurt of killed from this. They are required to keep and publish the stats. Of course they do not make it easy to get to.

It may report any death of any subject in the trial.

But is the death related to the vaccine.

If I was on the trial and I had the Jab but two weeks later died in a car crash my death would be reportable. That's different from being caused by the vaccine.

Anaphylaxis was identified as the cause of death in 6 reports; 5 after IIV3 vaccine. The onset interval for all 5 reports was <24 hours. In one report, the patient received IIV3 and ceftriaxone concomitantly. Intussusception was the stated cause of death in 6 reports; all involved administration of several vaccines simultaneously; in 5 reports patients received a rotavirus vaccine. The median onset interval was 5 days (range, 4–16 days) for these 5 reports. Two reports had an onset interval >6 days.

GBS was reported as the cause of death or a contributor to the death, or listed as a diagnosis, in 23 reports; vaccines administered included only IIV3 in 20 reports and three reports where IIV3 was given in combination with pneumococcal vaccine, 2009 pH1N1 inactivated monovalent vaccine, or HepB/varicella zoster vaccine. The median onset interval for these 23 reports was 12 days (range, 2–44 days). In 19 of 23 reports, the GBS was verified as cause of death by review of medical records. There was one report of syncope after vaccination leading to head trauma and resulting in death; details about this case have been reported previously [15]. Two reports involved deaths resulting from possible complications of smallpox vaccine. One report involved a 26-year-old male active-duty soldier who died suddenly after smallpox and IIV3 vaccination. The cause of death was eosinophilic myocarditis (hypersensitivity myocarditis) compatible with postvaccinial myocarditis. A second death report involved a 18-year-old male active-duty soldier who received anthrax, smallpox, and typhoid fever vaccines and died 2 weeks later. The cause of death was “complications from smallpox vaccination.” Autopsy findings included myocarditis with dilated cardiopathy and pulmonary edema. Yellow fever vaccine viscerotropic disease was the stated cause of death in one report involving a 22-year-old woman who received yellow fever vaccine 7 days before death.

All drugs and vaccines have some associated risk - that is no denying however the risk you take taking the vaccine vs not for yourself and more importantly in many case your community is much greater. It is a shame we're not taught more about risk in ever day terms. Your risk of dying crossing a road or in a motor vehicle accident are hugely greater than taking a vaccine but people seem to not be bothered by the first two risks repeatedly on a daily basis.

@Stargazer89 I get my "news" from reliable sources, like BBC, Guardian, Independent as UK sources generally but obviously look to AP and Reuters as good sources too. I think though you mean my information - I read articles published in BMJ, Lancet, on Pubmed, on Arxiv in other open access repositories if available - like for Covid pandemic modelling I'll look in Github for models available as Open Science. The UK government supports very actively Open Science. Any research that is published that has been conducted using UK government funds has to be published in an open repository that allows world wide free access.

I'm not pedelling (sic) vaccines I try on here to challenge statements that aren't based in scientific fact. I try to give relevant pointers to well researched articles carried out by professional scientists. I do this as I'm highly concerned about the possible failure of the new vaccines coming on stream for COVID to actually supress the virus in the community at large. My concern is people will read statements about death, illness, aluminium etc. etc. and not take the vaccine when actually it is fully safe to do so and that Covid will continue to kill people needlessly through this "vaccine hesitancy" due to the misinformation. Personally I don't consider that "pedelling" (Sic) I consider it that I'm offering the alternative view - one backed by years of scientific research and supported through carefully collected and analysed data. That's why I always ask for references when someone says something. I want to move the debate to an evidenced based discussion not one based on hearsay and rumour

@SW-User I will never ever agree to be poisoned. Committing suicide via vaccine is not in my future.

@SW-User I dunno man. The issue with Covid-19 is the small subset of people who get a serious case and have to be hospitalized. That puts undo strain on the Medical community. That's the real issue.

Most people who get it, don't get seriously ill, and don't need hospitalization.

If people would listen, and actually not be selfish, and follow the protocols that we all have been told, perhaps we wouldn't need a vaccine yet. We could wait until more time has passed and we have more data on this new type of vaccine. But apparently we are not going to do that.

That doesn't mean I am going to line up to be among the first to get this vaccine. I am waiting, and will continue to wait as long as I can for very valid, very real reasons that I have already listed in another comment on this question.

@SumKindaMunster according to the data review of the oxford AZ vaccine, which is not mRNA technology but taken from technology used on Ebola vaccines, they state whilst less effective in the population (70% vs 95%) they state that on the active arm of the study not one person who did subsequently develop Covid-19 symptoms need to be hospitalised.
If that is replicated across the entire population (no reason to significantly doubt it maybe) then your first point will be resolved. Reducing the hospitalisations is a huge priority after reducing the death toll obviously.

I don't disagree with you that if people washed hands and surfaces regularly and sufficiently, kept their distance, avoided meeting with people especially in confined unventilated places, minimised the length of time spent around people and wore masks appropriately then you could probably reduce infections significantly. Sadly I don't see much of that happening right now.

I wish you well in the current crisis and I hope you do feel in time sufficiently confident to be vaccinated and help to push Covid-19 into the same position as seasonal flu etc. where we can live our lives largely on a day to day basis completely unaffected by it.

@SW-User Thanks, I appreciate the well wishes. My bottom line is that sooner or later, I will be "forced" to get the vaccine. I am not happy about that, for reasons already stated.

Not by the government, mind you, rather all the corporations out there.

I feel quite confident that airlines, concert venues, hotels, resorts, private schools, restaurants, and many businesses will force people to provide proof they got vaccinated against Covid 19 before they are allowed to patronize said businesses.

That will take care of the problem of people who dont' want to get it, they will be forced to if they want to participate in society.

@SumKindaMunster I saw something talking about the side effects of corona vaccine just that they are not telling the truth to the public. They.. Im referring to the government. They are brainwashing people...

@SweetGirl2020 But the government, at least where I live, has no part to play in the review of the data - it is done by an independent committee before it it openly reviewed by the independent regulator.

I've worked on clinical trials and their filings. Trust me there is no way that you can hide stuff and you wouldn't ever want to either.

@SweetGirl2020 They don't - I'm 58 I've got contacts all over the place - there is no conspiracy - sorry that spoils the Hollywood blockbuster screenplay you have going on but frankly most politicians I've known are frankly just incompetent and only interested in feathering their own nests but certainly not intellectually able to mastermind a hidden conspiracy.
