Lockdown is the new term, used in regulating Covid19!

This term was first used in 1973, in California to segregate inmates from further violence. Is this term, really appropriate today?

Are we all living in prison now?🤔

Seems like it. Churches and schools have had evening parties calling them “Lockdowns” and I found that term disturbing. I know they were protecting the children by not letting them use the party as an excuse for wandering off with others after telling their parents they were going to a school or church party, but I think they could have used a better term to describe it. They were doing it over 25 years ago when my daughter was in junior high.
