the aches.
Whether actively having a fever or not I have these muscle aches. So far they are the worst part. They take turns in rotation about my body one muscle group after another. I can't do much about them except sleep. When it's my stomach's turn it also triggers hunger. My body is phemin' for protein hard. AND, the stomach area aches some with movements and sounds never experienced before and literally it feels like organs that I don't have are getting pushed aside.
It's like this scene in older versions of War of the Worlds ... well and Tom Cruise's, too. The narrator and his ... entourage... were taking refuge in an abandoned house when a martian meteor/pod lands up against it. They have to be quiet and remain inside to broken out hollows of the basement to avoid detection. They hear things, strange mechanical things that the martians are doing as they make their war machines... and other even more insidious operations. Chung chung chung goes my stomach as my own personal martians make the equipment of my undoing.
