I wonder if anyone who wore a mask and stayed at least 6-feet apart

from others, has still caught the virus? Do you know anyone who followed all the rules, and still became infected?

It is highly likely because neither of those methods are foolproof and nobody has said that they are. You are trying to minimise the risk, that's all. Masks and social distancing reduce the risk.

That’s true that you are minimizing the risk. I’d really like to know the stats for all those who went by the rules, and still got sick. I doubt they even count this. @SW-User

@Carissimi The most quoted study at present only involved a small number of people, they only had anecdotal evidence that procedures were followed correctly and they couldn't testify to whether the virus was caught when people were wearing masks or when they weren't, because nobody wears them 24/7.

Masks have been shown to be effective to a degree, as has social distancing. Multiple studies have confirmed this. Of course, there are many external factors that can affect the effectiveness of either.
