The Coronavirus

It's here for a while. It kills. Not just old people but they should live a lot longer and not their lives cut short. Without them how would we younger ones know how to live? It kills people like me. And people like you.
Yet people don't distance. Don't they care?

Given that the first deaths in China were in mid November, that puts the first cases having contracted the virus in mid to late October and the world was put on notice in January. That leaves 3 months of daily flights to and from China, to and from all over the world. The Corona Virus was beyond quarantining before we even knew it was a new virus. It was already all over the world. The models were predicting a much worse rate of fatalities than there really are. I can see where some people don't agree with the economic shutdowns and the wearing of masks. It has been predominantly a problem with older people, 73.6% of Covid fatalities are 65 and older, if you include those from 45 to 64 years of age, they make up 95% of fatalities. There seems to have been all levels of action from different countries but no real appreciable level of difference in results.
